About RTI Wiki
RTI Wiki is India's independent citizen-first reference for the Right to Information Act, 2005. We do not file RTIs on behalf of users — we equip every citizen to file their own. Our goal: make the RTI Act work for the 1.4 billion Indians who own it.

Editorial principles
- Citizen-first — every guide written for the everyday citizen, not the lawyer
- Plain English — no Latin except for statutory references
- Every claim cited — Act, Rule, Court, Commission
- Real-life examples — named protagonists, real districts, real recoveries
- Free + no login — all tools work without signup
- No paywall — content remains free in perpetuity
- Privacy — your name, address, RTI text stay in your browser; only the AI prompt is sent to the AI for drafting
How RTI Wiki is funded
RTI Wiki is reader-funded. We do not run paid ads against scheme money. We do not sell user data. We do not register as an §80G entity — donations are not tax-deductible. Every rupee goes into research, content updates, server costs and the team. See how to support RTI Wiki.
