The lead. Every Indian voter has the right to know what their elected representative does in Parliament. RTI Wiki tracks all 540 Lok Sabha + 243 Rajya Sabha members with full official records, photos, contact details, term-end dates, and ready RTI templates per MP.

The MP/MLA Tracker

🏛 Open the tracker — searchable by name, state, party, gender. Two tabs:

  • Lok Sabha (540) — by constituency, district lookup
  • Rajya Sabha (243) — by state, party, term-ending year, ministers, leaders

For each MP, the tracker shows:

  • Photo (official, hosted on our domain)
  • Constituency / state, party, gender
  • DOB, age, terms served
  • Cabinet portfolio (if minister), role (LoP, Whip, Spokesperson)
  • Email, phone, Delhi address, permanent address
  • Term-end date (Rajya Sabha) — flag for “ending 2026”
  • Wikipedia bio (199 of 243 RS members)
  • 3 ready RTIs per MP — Sansad attendance, MPLADS funds, ECI affidavit

The 3 RTI templates per MP

  1. To Sansad Secretariat — attendance, questions asked, supplementaries asked, committee meeting attendance
  2. To MPLADS implementing agency — funds released, works completed, works pending, beneficiary details
  3. To Election Commission of India — Form 26 affidavit (assets, criminal cases, education) for the latest election

Data is pulled from:

  • Rajya Sabha: rsdoc.nic.in/MemberGetData/getmemberall (NIC official directory)
  • Lok Sabha: sansad.in/api_ls/member (NIC backed)
  • Wikipedia: REST API for bios + photos (199/243 RS hits)

Every MP has a permalink at `/tools/mp-mla-tracker.html?house=rs&mp=<slug>` or `?house=ls&mp=<slug>`. Sharing brings the user directly to that MP's card with everything expanded.

Why parliamentary scrutiny matters

Your MP votes on every law that touches your life. Your MLA controls the state laws that govern your land, education, police. RTI is the only legally guaranteed way to track them.

  • Filing an RTI on MPLADS funds routinely surfaces ghost projects.
  • Filing an RTI on MP attendance + comparing with public statements catches no-show MPs.
  • Filing an RTI on MP-recommended works finds where your tax money goes.
