RTI Wiki Account & data deletion

Delete your account & data

This page lets you permanently delete your RTI Wiki account and every piece of personal data linked to it — for both the website and the Android / iOS app, which share one account. You do not need to be logged in. There is no charge.

Published by Bighelpers Software and Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for the RTI Wiki app (in.righttoinformation.wiki) and website.

What gets deleted

Permanently removed

  • Your account: username, email, display name, password hash, and any linked Google sign-in
  • CPD learning data: course enrolments, module & quiz progress, scores, simulator submissions, and your CPD/PIO certificate record and holder name
  • Saved items (“My Learnings”), bookmarks, reactions, likes and tool ratings
  • Your download history and tool-usage tied to your account
  • Newsletter subscription and push-notification subscription

Kept, and why

  • Encrypted backups: up to 30 days for disaster recovery, then permanently purged
  • Public forum / community posts: anonymised (your name removed) to keep discussion threads intact — or fully deleted if you ask in the note below
  • Anonymous, aggregate counts (e.g. total page views) that do not identify you
  • A minimal deletion-request audit record required by the DPDP Act — it holds no profile data

Advertising note: we do not store your device advertising ID. Ad data held by Google (AdSense on the web, AdMob in the app) is governed by Google’s policy — you can reset or opt out of your Advertising ID in your device settings and at myadcenter.google.com.
