  4. Fill enterprise details — Name, type, social category, location, dates, NIC code (industry classification), employees, investment + turnover.
  5. Bank details — Enterprise bank account + IFSC.
  6. Submit + receive Udyam Number — Unique 19-digit Udyam Registration Number (URN) + e-certificate. Permanent — no renewal.
  7. Auto-classification — System auto-classifies Micro/Small/Medium based on investment + turnover (whichever higher = larger class).
  8. Update annually — Update turnover + investment annually for re-classification. ITR-based; auto-fetched.
