Specifications + key rules
- Eligibility: Indian citizen + 18+ on 1 January of the year + resident of constituency.
- Form 6 is FREE — no fees. Beware agents demanding money.
- Form 8 — corrections (name, address, photo, DOB).
- Form 7 — deletion (death, shifted out, ineligible).
- Form 8A — transposition within constituency (different polling station).
- Aadhaar number is voluntary in Form 6 — you can't be denied EPIC for not providing it (Supreme Court 2023).
