pmayg.nic.in Beneficiary List 2026 — Step-by-Step
Quick answer. pmayg.nic.in (also reachable as awaassoft.nic.in) is the official PMAY-G (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana — Gramin) portal, run by the Ministry of Rural Development with backend on AwaasSoft. To check your name on the PMAY-G beneficiary list 2026: open pmayg.nic.in → Stakeholders → IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary → enter your 12-digit Registration Number OR your Aadhaar number OR run a Search by name using your State + District + Block + Panchayat. The full village-wise / panchayat-wise list with names, photos, sanction dates, and instalment status appears immediately. Same database covers IAY (legacy, pre-2016) and PMAY-G (2016 onwards). The portal is free and can be used without login.

What pmayg.nic.in is
- Owner: Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
- Backend: AwaasSoft, built and hosted by NIC (National Informatics Centre).
- Scheme covered: PMAY-G (rural housing) — including legacy IAY (Indira Awas Yojana, merged into PMAY-G in April 2016).
- What you can do: search beneficiary status, download village/panchayat-wise list, file an Awaas+ survey objection, see geo-tagged house photographs, access social-audit reports.
- What you cannot do here: PMAY-Urban 2.0 lookup. Use pmay-urban.gov.in for that.
Step 1 — Open pmayg.nic.in
- Type pmayg.nic.in in your browser. (awaassoft.nic.in works too — same database.)
- You'll see the AwaasSoft homepage with menus: AwaasSoft, AwaasApp, Reports, Stakeholders.
- Click Stakeholders in the top menu bar.
- From the dropdown, click IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary.
Step 2 — Beneficiary search (3 ways)
Way A — Search by Registration Number
- On the IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary page, enter your 12-digit Registration Number in the field provided.
- Click Submit.
- Your record displays: name, father's name, photograph, State, District, Block, Panchayat, sanction order date, and instalment status (1st / 2nd / 3rd / completion).
Way B — Search by Aadhaar
- On the same page, click Advanced Search.
- Enter your Aadhaar number (12 digits, no spaces).
- Optional: add State + Year for faster lookup.
- Click Search. The matching record appears.
Way C — Search by name
- Click Advanced Search.
- Pick State → District → Block → Panchayat from the cascading dropdowns.
- Enter your name + father's name in the text fields.
- Click Search. The system returns all matches; click your row to see the full record.
Step 3 — How to download the full village list
If you want the entire panchayat-wise PMAY-G beneficiary list 2026:
- From the AwaasSoft homepage, click Reports in the top menu.
- Pick Social Audit Reports → Beneficiary details for verification.
- Select State → District → Block → Panchayat → Year (pick 2026 for current).
- Click Get Report.
- The full list appears with names, registration numbers, sanction status, instalment dates, geo-tag photos.
- Click Excel or PDF (top-right of report) to download.
What the instalment status means
| Status | Meaning |
| Sanctioned | Your application has been approved; no money released yet. |
| 1st Instalment Released | First tranche of Rs 35,000 (Plain / Hill / NE / Tribal varies) sent. |
| 2nd Instalment Released | Second tranche after foundation + plinth verification. |
| 3rd Instalment Released | Third tranche after lintel + roof verification. |
| Completion | House complete, geo-tagged photo uploaded, final tranche released. |
| Reverted | Block officer flagged for re-verification — contact your BDO. |
| Rejected | Application rejected; reason in the Remarks field. |
If your name is NOT on the pmayg.nic.in list
- Awaas+ survey — your name may not have been captured. Check via Awaas+ in the Stakeholders menu and submit an objection.
- SECC 2011 deprivation criteria — PMAY-G eligibility uses SECC 2011 (Socio-Economic Caste Census). If you're missing because SECC excluded you, file an Awaas+ self-survey objection.
- File an RTI to your Block Development Officer (BDO) asking why your application is missing — see our RTI for PMAY status guide for the template.
