Maiya Samman Yojana status check 2026 on the MMMSY portal

Quick answer: You cannot check Maiya Samman status on the official portal, and there is no public rejected list there either. The site shows only Home, Operator Login and Official Login. Your file sits with the block or circle office that took your form. Quote the acknowledgement number (पावती क्रमांक) on your receipt. Ask that office, then the District Social Security Cell, then 1800-890-0215.

Illustrative image of a woman using a phone. Not an official status screen or a verified beneficiary

Last reviewed 11 September 2026. RTI Wiki is an independent citizen guide, not the Jharkhand Government and not a beneficiary-status service. We cannot see your application, open your account or release a payment.

Where to check, and what to carry

You applied, and you want to know the result. Start here, not with a forwarded list.

Where the record is. With the block or circle office that ran your camp. The official applicant leaflet lists the contact chain as that office, then your District Social Security Cell, then the toll-free number 1800-890-0215 if the matter is unresolved.

What to carry. The acknowledgement receipt and its पावती क्रमांक, the date and place of your camp, your ration card number, and the passbook of the Aadhaar-linked account named on the form.

What the outcome looks like. The block officer completes a verification report on your form. The decision itself is one of two outcomes, not a long list of status words. Sanctioned, with a sanction number and date. Or rejected, with the reason written in.

When you hear anything. The form says the office informs you of the sanction by voice call or SMS to your registered mobile number. Payment reaches only the Aadhaar-linked single bank account. No fixed credit date is published.

What is Maiya Samman Yojana?

Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana is a cash-assistance scheme for eligible women, run by the Department of Women, Child Development and Social Security, Government of Jharkhand.

The portal states that the scheme was sanctioned by departmental resolution number 1406 dated 1 July 2024, amended by departmental resolution number 2565 dated 14 August 2024, and that assistance is being given at the rate of Rs 2,500 per month. It also states that applications are taken through camps held across Jharkhand. Official scheme portal

Being eligible is not the same as being sanctioned. Being sanctioned is not the same as money in your account. Read every check below against that difference.

How to check Maiya Samman Yojana status 2026

If you opened this page to search a rejected list, or to type your Aadhaar number into a status box, the official site will not do that job.

On 11 September 2026 we fetched the portal home page and read its links. The only destinations are the home page, an Operator Login and an Official Login. We then requested fourteen likely status paths, such as /status, /track and /beneficiary. Every one returned the portal's internal-error page. There is no public status form on mmmsy.jharkhand.gov.in today.

So this is an office check, not a website check. Work through these three records in order.

Record Who holds it What it establishes
Acknowledgement receipt You, from the camp That your application was accepted, and the number to quote
Verification report and decision Block or circle office Whether you were sanctioned, with a sanction number and date, or rejected, with the reason
Bank credit for a named month Your bank Whether money reached the Aadhaar-linked account
  1. Find your acknowledgement number. The official form ends in a detachable receipt. That receipt carries the पावती क्रमांक, your name and address, block, circle, district, date and the signature of the authorised staff member. It is what an office can search on.
  2. Name one benefit month. Write down the single month you are asking about. Do not work out a month's payment from a lump sum alone.
  3. Ask the block or circle office. Ask for the recorded stage, and for the sanction or rejection on your file. If it is a rejection, ask for the reason written in the verification report. Do not wait for a public list to appear.
  4. Check your own passbook. Compare the date and amount against the month you named. An approval is not a credit, and a neighbour's screenshot is not proof of yours.
  5. Escalate in order. Block or circle office, then District Social Security Cell, then 1800-890-0215. Note the date, the office and what you were told, or keep a copy and a receipt if you write.

If the office has sanctioned you, watch the registered mobile for the voice call or SMS the form describes, then match the credit in the named account. If it has rejected you, the next step is the written reason, not a forwarded PDF.

The Official Login describes itself as a single-window interface for ADSS, BDO, CO, PS and HK only, and asks for a user ID, password and captcha. The Operator Login is a single-window interface for operators. Neither is a citizen lookup. Never try to obtain or use staff credentials. A public facility may be added later, so follow links from the home page.

Can I check status by mobile number or Aadhaar number?

Not on the official portal. Searches for a status check by Aadhaar number are very common, but the portal exposed no such form, and no mobile-number or OTP lookup either. Any site offering a Maiya Samman search by Aadhaar number is not the government portal.

Your mobile number still matters, for a different reason. The official form records it, and its closing note says the block or circle office will inform you of the sanction by voice call or SMS to that registered number. If your number has changed since the camp, tell the office. Otherwise a sanction message can go to a phone you no longer hold.

Do not enter your Aadhaar number, bank details or an OTP into a third-party status form, or post them in comments and replies. No genuine officer will ask for an OTP or PIN.

Amount and payment date: what is confirmed?

The portal states Rs 2,500 per month per beneficiary. That is the published rate, not confirmation that any one applicant is sanctioned or that a particular month has been paid.

The amount has moved. The leaflet printed on the department's 2024 application form gives the benefit as Rs 1,000 per month. The portal now states Rs 2,500. We could not source a dated order for the increase itself, so this page gives none.

We are not promising payment by the 15th or on any other fixed date. The portal publishes no payment calendar. Its animated At a Glance counters showed zero placeholders for age, date and amount when we fetched the page, so they are not payment data.

Who is eligible?

This summarises the eligibility section of the official scheme portal, read on 11 September 2026. Confirm the rule and your documents with the department before applying. If you already applied, use the same list to see which clause an office might have used.

  • The applicant must be a resident of Jharkhand.
  • At the time of application she must have completed 18 years of age and be under 50. The leaflet on the 2024 form said 21 years completed. The portal now says 18. Treat the portal as current and ask the office if your age sits near either edge.
  • She must have an Aadhaar card.
  • She must have an Aadhaar-linked single bank account. The portal states that payment is made only through that account.
  • Her family must hold one of the listed Jharkhand ration cards: Antyodaya Anna Yojana, the yellow card, priority household, the pink card, K-Oil, the white card, or the separate green card.

The portal lists these exclusions.

  • The applicant, her husband, or her father where she is unmarried, is employed as a regular, permanent, contractual or honorarium worker in the Central or State Government, a Central or State public-sector undertaking, a statutory body, a local body, an urban body or a government-aided educational institution, or draws a pension or family pension after retirement.
  • Any family member is a current or former Member of Parliament or Member of the Legislative Assembly.
  • The family pays income tax. For this clause the portal defines family as husband and wife, unmarried children, and children with disabilities.
  • The woman applicant holds an EPF account.
  • She already receives another social-security pension run by the same department.

The same five exclusions appear as sworn paragraphs in the self-declaration attached to the official form. Neither document carries a four-wheeler test or a landholding test, so this page does not repeat one. If an office rejects your application, ask for the decision and the exact clause it applied.

Documents and details to keep ready

Take these when you go back to the office. They match the fields and attachments on the official form.

The official application form is marked free of charge. It asks for your name, your father's or husband's name, full address down to panchayat or ward and block or circle, voter identity card number, Aadhaar number, bank account number and whether it is Aadhaar-linked, bank name with branch, IFSC code, ration card number, optional PAN, category, age, date of birth, an identification mark, your mobile number and your marital status.

It lists the self-attested copies to attach: Aadhaar card, voter identity card, bank passbook, PAN card, ration card, and the self-declaration in original.

One dated instruction on the form matters for payments. An Aadhaar-linked bank account is compulsory to receive the financial assistance after December 2024. If your account is not seeded, fix that with your bank first.

Ask the accepting office for the current form, the checklist in force and any camp dates before you travel. Never hand an OTP or PIN to anyone promising faster approval.

Payment missing: bank checks and scheme checks

Start with the recorded position, not a guess. The credit did not land. A missing credit does not by itself prove rejection, failed Aadhaar seeding or incomplete verification. Find out which it is before acting.

Ask the block or circle office whether your application is sanctioned, and whether a transfer is recorded for the month you named. If a transfer is recorded, ask for its date, amount and reference, then take that reference to your bank. If a failure or return is recorded, ask for the reason and the correction required. If nothing is recorded, ask for the pending stage or the decision rather than changing your bank details again.

Check the account, because the form requires it. Payment runs only through the Aadhaar-linked single bank account, and the official form makes such an account compulsory to receive assistance after December 2024. Ask your bank to confirm the account is open, in your own name and Aadhaar-seeded for benefit transfers. Our guide to Aadhaar-bank DBT seeding walks through that check. A seeding correction does not tell you when the department will release or reprocess a payment.

Keep the two enquiries apart. Bank maintenance, including any KYC step your branch asks for, is a banking matter. Sanction, verification and release are scheme matters held by the block office. We have not verified any statewide 2026 e-KYC deadline here.

Beneficiary list and rejected list: what exists

You have heard of an MMMSY rejected list. You want to know whether your name is on it. The official portal does not publish a rejected-list PDF. It does not publish a beneficiary list either.

On 11 September 2026 we read the portal's links and probed the usual list and status paths. We found none. Files circulating as an MMMSY rejected list are not published by the portal. Do not upload your Aadhaar number to a site offering to search one.

What does exist is the decision on your own file. The verification report on the official form has two boxes. One records that the application is approved under TSP, OSP or SCSP, with a sanction number and date. The other records that it is rejected, with the reason to be stated. The enquiry officer and the Block Development Officer or Circle Officer sign it. Ask for that entry. That is your result. A forwarded PDF is not.

For anything wider than your own file, start with your district's official website or ask the scheme office for the dated notice that applies to your area. Check its date, benefit period, issuing office and purpose. A footer date saying last updated does not turn an old notice into a new instalment announcement.

For a public-interest request, ask for an existing block-wise or district-wise aggregate report for a stated period. Do not ask for other applicants' Aadhaar numbers, bank details or phone numbers. Disclosure stays subject to the RTI Act's exemptions.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Treating the Operator Login or Official Login as a public status page.
  • Entering an Aadhaar number into a private site that promises an MMMSY status search.
  • Treating a forwarded rejected-list PDF as the decision on your own file.
  • Assuming eligibility means a payment has already been sanctioned.
  • Going to the bank first when the block office has recorded no sanction.
  • Changing bank details before asking which defect needs correcting.
  • Letting the mobile number on the form go stale, when that is the number the office calls.
  • Trusting an undated district list or a forwarded instalment message.

How to file RTI for Maiya Samman Yojana

Use RTI to obtain records the public authority already holds, not to order a payment. Section 6(1) lets you request specified information. Section 2(j) covers access to held records and copies. Address the State Public Information Officer of the Jharkhand authority holding your scheme records, normally at block, district or department level. Do not address a Jharkhand office as a CPIO. RTI Act, Sections 2, 5 and 6

Confirm the office address, the designated PIO and the prescribed fee and payment mode from that office first. Jharkhand is a State Government authority, so a State RTI route applies rather than the Central Government's online portal.

Use a dated written application and keep proof of delivery. Replace the placeholders. Give only the details needed to find your record and reply to you.

Sample RTI request: own application and payment records

To: The State Public Information Officer, [verified name and postal address of the Jharkhand public authority holding the records]

Subject: Information under Section 6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, regarding my Maiya Samman Yojana application

I am an Indian citizen. My acknowledgement number is [number], for an application submitted on [date] at [camp or office], for [village or ward, block and district]. The benefit period queried is [month and year]. Please provide:

  1. A copy or extract of the record showing my application receipt date, its recorded stage and the latest recorded action as of [date].
  2. A copy of the verification report on my application, including the sanction number and date if sanctioned, or the recorded reason if rejected.
  3. Copies of any pending-document notice or withholding decision, with the rule or order relied upon.
  4. For the benefit period above, the recorded payment amount, release date, transaction reference and any failure or return reason, if held.

Please supply the information as held. If an item is not held, please state that. If Section 6(3) applies because another public authority holds part of it, please transfer that part and inform me.

Applicant: [name and correspondence address]. Date: [date]. Signature: [signature].

Fee: [prescribed payment details, or the BPL exemption with required proof]. Do not send an OTP or PIN.

RTI time limits, not a payment deadline: the PIO's decision is ordinarily due within 30 days of receipt under Section 7(1). Section 6(3) provides for transfer to another public authority within five days. The BPL fee exemption sits in Section 7(5). If no decision arrives in time, or it aggrieves you, Section 19(1) gives a first appeal to the designated senior officer, normally within 30 days, with delay admissible for sufficient cause. RTI Act, Sections 6, 7 and 19

Draft the request with the AI RTI Drafter, organise an appeal with the First Appeal Builder, or review a reply with the PIO Reply Checker. Check every draft and addressee yourself. These tools do not submit anything and cannot guarantee disclosure or payment.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check Maiya Samman Yojana payment status?

Take your acknowledgement receipt to the block or circle office that accepted the form and ask for the recorded stage and the sanction or rejection on your file. Then check your own passbook for the month you named. The portal has no public status page. Do not start with a rejected-list PDF.

Can I check MMMSY status by Aadhaar number?

Not on the official portal. On 11 September 2026 mmmsy.jharkhand.gov.in showed only Home, Operator Login and Official Login, and no Aadhaar or mobile lookup. Any private site offering a Maiya Samman search by Aadhaar number is not the government portal.

How much is the monthly benefit?

The official portal states Rs 2,500 per month per beneficiary. The leaflet printed on the 2024 application form stated Rs 1,000. Neither figure proves that any one applicant is sanctioned or that a given month has been paid into her account.

Is payment guaranteed by the 15th?

No such date is published. The portal carries no payment calendar and this page does not supply one. Ask the block office for the recorded position on your named month rather than trusting a forwarded instalment message.

Is a woman aged exactly 50 eligible to apply?

The portal's rule is that the applicant must have completed 18 years and be under 50 at the time of application. On its own terms that excludes a fresh application at exactly 50. The 2024 leaflet set the lower edge at 21. Ask the department about an existing beneficiary.

What if my application is approved but the money is missing?

Ask whether a transfer is recorded for that specific month, and get its reference and any recorded failure reason. Compare it with your passbook. A sanction is not a transfer, a transfer is not a credit, and a missing credit does not identify its own cause.

Does updating Aadhaar or bank KYC guarantee the next payment?

No. Payment runs only through the Aadhaar-linked single bank account, and the official form makes such an account compulsory after December 2024, so seeding matters. But the bank cannot tell you whether the department has sanctioned or released anything.

Where is the MMMSY rejected list PDF?

The portal publishes no rejected list and no beneficiary list. We probed for one on 11 September 2026 and found nothing. What you can obtain is the verification report on your own file, which records either the sanction number and date or the reason for rejection. That report is the result that matters for you.

What is the official Maiya Samman helpline?

The portal and the official form both give 1800-890-0215 as the departmental toll-free number. The form's leaflet places it last in the chain, after the block or circle office and the District Social Security Cell. Call it after those two if the file is still stuck. We verified the listing, not how a call is handled.

Should I send my RTI to a CPIO?

No. For records held by a Jharkhand State Government authority, address its designated State Public Information Officer. Confirm the office, the route and the prescribed fee first. An RTI request is not an instruction to release your benefit.

Sources and review limits

Review limits. No helpline call was made, no application was looked up and no bank credit was verified. A divisional portal at hbdivmmmsy.jharkhand.gov.in did not respond, and nothing here relies on it. The Central RTI Online portal did not respond either, so this page makes no claim about its notices. We could not source a dated order for the change from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 and give none. Verify your own case with the responsible office. This is general information, not legal advice.
