Documents required for PM-KISAN registration (2026 checklist)
Direct answer. PM-KISAN is open to all landholding farmer families with cultivable landholding. Documents: Aadhaar + land record (khasra/khatauni) + Aadhaar-linked bank account + eKYC (mandatory since 2022). Register at pmkisan.gov.in or any CSC.

- Citizenship declaration — Self-declaration on form
- Mobile number — For OTP-based eKYC and notifications
- Photograph — Recent passport-size, white background

Specifications + key rules
- Eligibility: All landholding farmer families. Disqualified: income tax payers (any of last 2 AYs), pension > Rs. 10,000/month, constitutional post-holders, professionals.
- eKYC mandatory since 2022 — must be done annually. Three options: OTP-based (free, instant), Biometric at CSC (Rs. 15-50), Face-auth via PM-KISAN mobile app (free, instant).
- Land record linking — Patwari uploads your khasra to PFMS; without this, no payment.
- Family = one person per family unit (defined by ration card / family register).
- State top-ups: Karnataka, AP, Telangana, Odisha add Rs. 4,000-12,000/year extra.
