Bharat Taxi is a ride-hailing service run as a cooperative, not as a private company. It is backed by the Ministry of Cooperation and operated by the Sahkar Taxi Cooperative. 1. Download the official app. Search the Google Play Store for the official Bharat Taxi Driver app. Confirm the developer name before installing, as clones exist.
2. Verify your mobile number. Enter your 10-digit number and the OTP you receive.
3. Set up your profile. Add your name, email, and basic details.
4. Upload documents. Provide your driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, and other requested papers.
5. Add bank details. Give the bank account where your earnings will be paid directly.
6. Become a cooperative member. Buy the cooperative shareholding to become a co-owner. Confirm the current share amount inside the app before paying.
7. Complete verification. The cooperative runs document and background checks before activating you.
8. Enable location and notifications. Turn on GPS and alerts so you can receive ride requests.
