Answer 7 quick questions. We tell you whether you qualify for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana — Gramin (rural) or Urban 2.0 (EWS / LIG / MIG-I / MIG-II) — and what to do next.
PMAY-Gramin is for rural households on the SECC 2011 list or the Awaas+ 2024-25 survey who do not already own a pucca house. PMAY-Urban 2.0 is for urban EWS, LIG and MIG families within the income bands below who do not own a pucca house anywhere in India. Check your beneficiary status on the PMAY status check page.
Annual household income: EWS up to Rs 3 lakh, LIG Rs 3-6 lakh, MIG-I Rs 6-9 lakh, MIG-II Rs 9-12 lakh. EWS and LIG get the largest support; MIG-I and MIG-II are mainly eligible for the home-loan interest subsidy.
Possibly. The Awaas+ 2024-25 enumeration is the route to inclusion if SECC 2011 missed your household. Visit your Block Development Office with Aadhaar, ration card and address proof and ask to be enumerated, then track the PMAY beneficiary list.
