**Quick Reply:** You are entitled to your **evaluated answer sheet**, your **total marks**, the **category-wise cut-offs** and the **number of candidates selected** — all of it "information" under §2(f), and the answer sheet specifically confirmed disclosable by the Supreme Court in *CBSE v. Aditya Bandopadhyay* (2011). This page is a ready-to-file sample: fill the exam block, pick the queries that fit, attach the ₹10 fee.

Which of these queries work — and which wobble
 * **[1] Your own evaluated answer sheet** — squarely disclosable (*CBSE v. Aditya Bandopadhyay*, SC 2011: an evaluated answer book is information under §2(f); see our decision summary).
 * **[2] Your total marks** — yours, no exemption engaged.
 * **[3]–[8] Cut-offs, qualified/selected counts by category** — aggregate statistical information, routinely disclosed; the public interest in selection transparency is obvious.
 * **Model answer keys / question papers** — add a query if released versions exist; commissions have directed disclosure of keys after the exam cycle.
 * **Other candidates' names/marks** — that engages privacy balancing; ask for the **aggregate numbers** (as this sample does) rather than individual data, and you stay clean.

Filing pointers
 * Address the PIO of the **recruiting body or exam-conducting authority** (SSC/RRB/UPSC/State PSC or the university), not the invigilating centre.
 * Central bodies: file at rtionline.gov.in (₹10 online). State PSCs: the state's route — see the fee and portal hub.
 * Reply due **30 days**; the "keys and cut-offs" queries are often answered earlier by the results portal — check there first, then ask by RTI for what is missing.

FAQs
Is my answer sheet personal information that can be withheld?
It is your own record; the Supreme Court in *CBSE v. Aditya Bandopadhyay* held evaluated answer books disclosable to the examinee who seeks them.
The exam body says "results are on the website, RTI not needed"
Website publication does not answer a request for the evaluated sheet or the selection-stage numbers; §2(f) covers material in any form, and the right is to the record, not the press release.
Can I ask for another candidate's answer sheet?
That is third-party information; expect §8(1)(j) balancing — and since 14 November 2025 the DPDP-amended test. Aggregate cut-off and count queries get you the transparency without that fight.
Cut-offs for a later cycle than the exam I took?
One subject per application; file a second application for each cycle's numbers.
