+Uttarakhand's public authorities sit on the files that matter most to its residents: land and mutation records in hill districts, disaster-relief and compensation records, Char Dham yatra infrastructure, forest-rights claims, and the ordinary municipal services of Dehradun, Haridwar, Haldwani and the towns between. The RTI Act applies to all of them the same way it applies in any state — what changes at the state level is the fee counter, the portal and the commission where your second appeal lands.
