Direct answer. For Aadhaar enrolment, UIDAI accepts a wide list of Indian government-issued IDs. You need one document each from 4 categories: Proof of Identity (PoI), Proof of Address (PoA), Proof of Date of Birth (PoB), and (for children) Proof of Relationship (PoR). Submit originals at any Aadhaar Seva Kendra; biometrics captured on the spot. No fee for first enrolment.
