Last reviewed: 16 September 2026 (Cycle 2 day 2). Rural routes stay on pmayg.dord.gov.in / Awaassoft (some automated crawlers hit a WAF 401 — open in a normal browser). Urban 2.0 status still needs Login → Applicant login on pmaymis.gov.in with Aadhaar + name + OTP (MoHUA PMAY-U 2.0 user manual). Older PMAY-G bookmarks no longer resolve.
Quick answer. Rural PMAY-G takes one key, your Registration Number / Beneficiary ID, at Search Beneficiary Details under Stakeholders, then IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary. No number? It is beside your name in the H.1 Rural Housing Report at report.pmayg.dord.gov.in. Urban PMAY-U 2.0 takes your Aadhaar number, name and an OTP, on pmaymis.gov.in under Login, then Applicant login. A blank result is not a rejection. Save the screen with its date, then ask the office in writing.
| Question | PMAY-G rural | PMAY-U 2.0 urban |
|---|---|---|
| Live portal | pmayg.dord.gov.in | pmaymis.gov.in PMAY-U 2.0 MIS |
| Access key | Registration number, plus captcha | Aadhaar, name, OTP |
| Without a number | H.1 Rural Housing Report | None. Totals only |
| If missing | BDO RTI | Municipal Commissioner RTI |
Village list: PMAY beneficiary list. Urban: PMAY Urban 2.0. Bookmarks: moved address.
A PMAY-G house has 7 recorded stages: House Sanction, Foundation, Plinth, Windowsill, Lintel, Roof cast, Completed. At least 3 instalments are paid.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Registered or surveyed | In Awaas+ or the MIS, not a sanction |
| House Sanctioned | Sanction order issued, with a PMAY-G ID and QR code |
| Below Foundation Level, Roof Cast | A construction stage on record |
| Amount released, last transfer date | Money moved by FTO. Check the passbook |
| Inspection date and officer | Inspections are linked to instalment release |
Stage photographs are geo-referenced and time stamped on the AwaasApp, but the public report does not show them. Quote a visible inspection date and ask for the record.
Rural PIO: BDO or Programme Officer. Urban PIO: Municipal Commissioner or ULB PMAY cell. §6(1), reply in 30 days under §7(1).

Rural is pmayg.dord.gov.in. Urban 2.0 is pmaymis.gov.in. They share no database.
Not as a public search. The PMAY-G search takes a registration number or beneficiary ID and a captcha, with no Aadhaar box and no mobile lookup. The one Aadhaar route is your own Applicant login on PMAY-U 2.0: Aadhaar, name, then an OTP. Never give that OTP to anyone.
The PMAY-G Framework for Implementation gives 7 working days from the sanction order, into the registered bank or post office account. Later instalments are mapped to stages, and inspections there are linked to release.
No. Subsidy beneficiary details fall under §4(1)(b)(xii). An extract cannot be refused on privacy grounds alone, though fields may be redacted.
CLSS is closed. BLC and AHP under 2.0 are a new window with their own MIS login.
File a first appeal under §19(1) to the First Appellate Authority in the same office, within 30 days of the reply or the deadline.
