Laldinpuii, a second-year B.A. student at a government college in **Aizawl district**, had applied on the National Scholarship Portal for the **Post-Matric ST Scholarship** for the academic year 2024-25. Her institute verified the application in early October 2024, the NSP dashboard turned green at L1, and then — nothing. By March 2025, with the new session's fee due and no money in her Aadhaar-linked account, she had refreshed the "Track Your Payment" page a few hundred times and raised two NSP grievances, each of which closed with the same bland line: "Pending at state nodal office."
