 +IGNOAPS is the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), run by the Ministry of Rural Development. It pays a monthly pension to a person aged 60 or above who belongs to a Below Poverty Line family. States add their own top-up on the central share.
