2. If not yet, file demand at Gram Panchayat — Panchayat consolidates + forwards to PHED.
3. PHED prepares Detailed Project Report (DPR) — Includes source + treatment + distribution.
4. Construction by PHED contractor — 3-12 months.
5. Connection at home — Tap installed; meter optional.
6. Operations + maintenance — Pay nominal user charge for sustenance (Rs 50-100/month).

Connection: depends on village JJM status (3-24 months).
