Voter ID Status Check 2026 — Track & Download e-EPIC

Quick answer. Check your voter ID (EPIC) application status on the Voters' Services Portal run by the Election Commission of India — voters.eci.gov.in. Use Track Application Status at voters.eci.gov.in/home/track and enter the reference ID you got when you applied. • Application status — for a new voter ID (Form 6), a correction (Form 8), shifting or deletion.

1. Open voters.eci.gov.in/home/track (Track Application Status).
2. Enter the reference ID you received when you submitted your form.
3. Add your state and any captcha or OTP if prompted.
4. The page shows the current stage — submitted, under verification by the Booth Level Officer (BLO), accepted or rejected.

You can also track from inside your account: log in at voters.eci.gov.in/login and open your applications list.

1. Open voters.eci.gov.in → Download e-EPIC.
2. Enter your EPIC number or the reference ID, then verify with OTP.
3. Download the e-EPIC PDF. It is a valid form of your voter ID.

The e-EPIC is usually available once your application is approved and the EPIC number is generated.

To confirm your name is on the voter list and find your booth:

1. Open electoralsearch.eci.gov.in.
2. Search by EPIC number, by details (name, age, state, constituency), or by mobile OTP.
3. The result shows your roll entry, part number and polling station.

If your name is missing from the roll, you may need to apply afresh with Form 6 or get an error corrected with Form 8.

1. Track the reference ID to see the exact stage.
2. Respond to BLO verification — the Booth Level Officer may visit or call to verify your address.
3. Use the Voter Helpline app or call 1950 (prefix your STD code if needed) to raise the issue.
4. Re-apply or correct with the right form if the application was rejected for a fixable reason.

• Use only voters.eci.gov.in and ECI sites. Private “voter ID” websites that ask for payment are not official; applying is free.
• Never share your OTP with anyone offering to “make” your voter ID.
• The e-EPIC from the official portal is free — do not pay an agent to download it.
• Having more than one voter ID is an offence; correct duplicates with Form 7 / Form 8.

On the ECI Voters' Services Portal at voters.eci.gov.in. Open Track Application Status, enter the reference ID from your application, and the current stage is shown. You can also log in to see all your applications.

The e-EPIC is the digital, downloadable version of your Electoral Photo Identity Card. It is valid and can be printed. The physical card may also be issued, but the e-EPIC PDF is accepted as your voter ID.

Log in to the Voters' Services Portal with the mobile number you registered and open your applications list. If you cannot log in, contact your Electoral Registration Office or call the voter helpline 1950.

Confirm with the electoral roll search first. If it is genuinely missing, submit Form 6 to register, or Form 8 to fix an error in an existing entry. Track the reference ID afterwards.
