Direct answer. Log in to pmsvanidhi.mohua.gov.in with your registered mobile number and OTP. After login, your dashboard shows the current status of each tranche application, sanction date, disbursement date, and repayment progress. You can also check your survey enrolment without logging in using the Street Vendor Survey Search on the same portal.
PM SVANidhi provides collateral-free working capital loans to urban street vendors in three escalating tranches. Knowing exactly where your application stands, whether it is waiting at the Urban Local Body (ULB) level, at the lender, or already disbursed, saves time and prevents unnecessary trips to the bank. This guide covers every step: from checking your survey status, to reading your loan dashboard, to knowing what to do when something looks wrong.
Before you can apply for a PM SVANidhi loan, your name must appear in the street vendor survey carried out by the Urban Local Body. If you are not sure whether you were covered, do this first.
The result shows whether your name is in the list and gives you a Survey Reference Number (SRN). Save the SRN. If your name is missing, you can request a Letter of Recommendation (LoR) through the portal.
PM SVANidhi offers working capital loans in three sequential tranches as per the official Scheme Guidelines on the portal.
| Tranche | Loan Amount (up to) | Repayment Period |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Tranche | Rs 15,000 | 12 months |
| 2nd Tranche | Rs 25,000 | 18 months |
| 3rd Tranche | Rs 50,000 | 36 months |
Each tranche is collateral-free. You become eligible for the next tranche only after timely or early repayment of the current one. No prepayment penalty applies if you clear the loan before the due date.
An interest subsidy of 7% per annum is credited directly into your bank account every quarter (30 June, 30 September, 31 December, 31 March). The subsidy applies only to standard (non-NPA) accounts. A UPI-linked RuPay Credit Card is available for vendors who have repaid their 2nd tranche, with an initial credit limit of Rs 10,000 extendable to Rs 30,000 over five years.
Once you or a Banking Correspondent has submitted your LoR-cum-loan application through the PM SVANidhi portal or mobile app, you can track it at every stage.
The dashboard shows a stage-by-stage status:
If your application has been stuck at the ULB stage for more than 15 days, the scheme guidelines provide that LoR issuance must be completed within 15 days of submission. This is the first escalation trigger.
After disbursement, your dashboard also shows EMI schedule, account standard (NPA) status, and whether you have become eligible for the next tranche. Keep your UPI ID active; the quarterly interest subsidy is credited to the same linked account. If the subsidy has not arrived for a completed quarter, raise a grievance through the portal.
Vendors with MUDRA loans through the same lender can cross-check both accounts on the lender's app.
The PM SVANidhi Mobile App (Android) replicates the portal's status functions. Login is the same: mobile number and OTP. Tap My Application to see the current stage. The app also allows 2nd and 3rd tranche loan applications without a branch visit, provided your repayment is updated in the system.
Status stuck on “Submitted” for more than 15 days
The ULB has not verified the LoR. Visit the ULB office with your SRN. Scheme guidelines require LoR issuance within 15 days of application. Cite this directly.
Status shows “Returned by Bank”
Log in to see the stated reason. Common causes: Aadhaar or account detail mismatch, or an existing NPA. Correct the issue and resubmit, or ask your Banking Correspondent for help.
Loan shown as disbursed but money not in account
Allow 2-3 working days. Check that the bank account number in your application is correct. Contact your bank branch with the disbursement date visible on the portal, and raise a grievance if unresolved.
Interest subsidy not credited for a completed quarter
Subsidy arrives 4-6 weeks after quarter-end once the lender files a claim. If it has been more than two months and your account is standard, raise a grievance on the portal. Technical queries: email [email protected] (confirmed on the portal's Contact page).
Name not found in survey list
You can still apply via an LoR-cum-Loan application at the ULB office, Block Development Office, or a Common Service Centre. Bring any proof of vending: a past loan document, vendors' association membership, or lockdown assistance receipt.
Your mobile number must be linked to your Aadhaar for OTP login to work. To update your mobile number, use the dedicated link on the portal's homepage. If your OTP is not arriving, check your Aadhaar mobile linking status on the UIDAI portal first.
The lending period for PM SVANidhi has been extended to 31 March 2030. Interest subsidy and cashback incentives will continue until 31 March 2033. The scheme covers all States and UTs that have notified rules under the Street Vendors Act, 2014, and is now extended to Census Towns and peri-urban areas.
Vendors who want to explore larger business financing may check MUDRA loan status or Udyam Registration for micro-enterprise recognition. Those also registered under PM Vishwakarma or e-Shram benefit from faster ULB identity verification.

The maximum loan under the third tranche is Rs 50,000. The three tranches are Rs 15,000 (1st, 12 months), Rs 25,000 (2nd, 18 months), and Rs 50,000 (3rd, 36 months) as per the updated Scheme Guidelines on the portal. Tranches must be taken in sequence, with timely repayment of the previous one.
Yes. Vendors without a Certificate of Vending or Identity Card can submit an LoR-cum-Loan application through the portal, at the ULB office, at a Block Development Office, or at a Common Service Centre. The ULB must issue the LoR within 15 days of receiving the application. Your Aadhaar and any proof of vending activity will be required.
The subsidy is not deducted upfront. You repay the full EMIs to the lender. The lender then files a quarterly claim with the government, and the subsidy amount is credited directly into your savings account linked to the loan, typically within 4-6 weeks after the quarter ends. Your account must be standard (not NPA) on the claim date for the subsidy to apply.
Log in to the portal to see the stated reason. You can correct the issue and resubmit. A low credit score alone cannot be a reason for rejection under the scheme guidelines. The lender can decline only if you have an existing NPA or written-off account with any lending institution.
Once the repayment is updated in the PMS Portal system by your lender, your dashboard will show 2nd tranche eligibility. You can then apply directly on the portal or through the PM SVANidhi Mobile App. You do not need to visit the bank branch if your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and UPI ID are current.
No official toll-free number is confirmed on the portal as of this review. For technical queries, email [email protected]. For credit guarantee queries, contact the CGTMSE helpdesk at the mobile number listed on the portal's Contact page. For scheme-related complaints, raise a grievance directly on the portal after logging in.
No. The logged-in dashboard shows only your own application and loan details. The public-facing survey search (without login) only confirms whether a name appears in the ULB survey list, not any loan amount or disbursement detail.
Having a PM SVANidhi loan active does not automatically disqualify you from other loans. Lenders consider your total repayment obligations. An NPA on any PM SVANidhi account can affect eligibility across scheme loans. Repay on time to maintain a clean credit record.
