pmayg.nic.in Beneficiary List 2026 — new portal

PMAYG beneficiary list guide — righttoinformation.wiki

Quick answer: pmayg.nic.in is dead. So are awaassoft.nic.in and iay.nic.in. The PMAY-G list now lives at pmayg.dord.gov.in. Search one person at Benificiary.aspx with the registration number. For the whole village, open the reports site → Social Audit Reports → Beneficiary details for verification → State, District, Block, Gram Panchayat.

If you only have 2 minutes: skip any video that still says “open pmayg.nic.in”. Type pmayg.dord.gov.in, then the panchayat report path above. The list is public information under RTI Act 2005 §4(1)(b). If your name is missing, read PMAY beneficiary list 2026 and file RTI with the AI RTI Drafter.

Why nic.in bookmarks fail

Old bookmark Status Use instead
pmayg.nic.in Does not resolve pmayg.dord.gov.in
awaassoft.nic.in Does not resolve awaassoft.pmayg.dord.gov.in
iay.nic.in Dead; IAY merged into PMAY-G in 2016 Same dord.gov.in portal; old IAY numbers still search

The database did not vanish. Only the public hostname moved to the Department of Rural Development.

Village list — step by step

  1. Under Social Audit Reports, click Beneficiary details for verification.
  2. Pick State → District → Block → Gram Panchayat, scheme PMAY-G, and year.
  3. Download if the Excel control is shown.
  4. One person: beneficiary search with registration number, or Aadhaar advanced search.

Gov.in report servers are often slow. Retry in the morning before assuming the list is gone.

Awaas+ 2024 is not the same as a sanctioned house

New rural identification uses the Awaas+ 2024 survey (app launched 17 September 2024). A household can appear in Awaas+ and still wait for sanction. See AwaasPlus 2024 information and awaasplus.pmayg.dord.gov.in. Do not treat a survey tick as a house sanction.

Unit assistance (rural)

The Union Cabinet extended PMAY-G for FY 2024-25 to 2028-29. Unit assistance remains ₹1.20 lakh in plain areas and ₹1.30 lakh in north-eastern and hilly states. Confirm the figure printed on your sanction order.

If your name is missing

  1. Check Awaas+ 2024 and the panchayat permanent wait list on the same reports site.
  2. File RTI to the BDO for grounds of exclusion and wait-list rank.
  3. Urban names will never appear here — use PMAY-U 2.0 status.

Frequently asked questions

Is pmayg.nic.in permanently closed?

The hostname does not resolve. Use pmayg.dord.gov.in. The scheme continues.

Can I download a state-wise Excel?

Panchayat Excel is offered on many report pages. All-India bulk files also appear on data.gov.in for researchers — that is not your personal status.

Do old IAY numbers still work?

Yes. IAY merged into PMAY-G in 2016; the same AwaasSoft search still accepts legacy IAY registration numbers.

Why does a neighbour appear and I do not?

Sanction follows the permanent wait list and Awaas+ 2024, not a private agent list. Ask for the wait-list rank in writing, then RTI.

Is the village list a PDF I can print for social audit?

The report page usually offers a table and, on many states, an Excel download. Print or save that. It is the same extract you can demand under §4(1)(b).

Does Awaas+ 2024 replace the old SECC list?

Awaas+ 2024 is the current survey for new rural identification. Old sanctioned houses stay in AwaasSoft. A survey entry is not a sanction.

What to do in the next 30 minutes

  1. Open the panchayat report and search your name.
  2. If you have a registration number, run Benificiary.aspx.
  3. If missing, draft the RTI to the BDO.
