PM-KISAN Beneficiary Status Check 2026 — Track Rs 6,000 Installment

Quick answer. PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) gives Rs 6,000/year to landholding farmer families in three Rs 2,000 instalments. To check PM-KISAN beneficiary status 2026: open pmkisan.gov.in → Farmers Corner → Beneficiary Status → enter Aadhaar OR mobile number OR Registration Number → click Get Data. The portal returns: registration status, instalment-wise payment history, last instalment date + amount, eKYC status, land-seeding status, and any rejection reason. The next instalment expected is the 20th (around Apr-May 2026 per typical schedule). If your name is missing or instalment is stuck, file an RTI to your Block Agriculture Officer (BAO) under §6(1) RTI Act 2005.

3. Click Beneficiary Status.

5. Click Get Data.

Landholding farmer families with cultivable agricultural land. Excluded: institutional landholders, government employees, professionals (CAs, doctors, engineers, lawyers), pensioners with monthly pension > Rs 10,000, income-tax payers, MPs/MLAs/Mayors.

No. PM-KISAN is for landholders (the title-holder). Tenant farmers without registered land aren't eligible — though some state governments have parallel schemes (KALIA in Odisha, Rythu Bandhu in Telangana etc.).

Check status first. If status is Active but no payment, the issue is likely bank-side — visit your branch with Aadhaar + bank passbook. If status is Inactive or IT Filer, file an RTI to BAO.

The mobile must be linked to Aadhaar (UIDAI). Update at any Aadhaar Seva Kendra. PM-KISAN auto-syncs from UIDAI within 7 days.
