Step-by-step
- Open the official Income Tax e-filing portal and choose Instant e-PAN.
- Enter Aadhaar only on the official page and verify with the Aadhaar-linked mobile OTP.
- Check status or download e-PAN using the acknowledgement process.
- Save the PDF securely and avoid sharing it casually.
- If rejected or not generated, check whether you already have PAN or whether Aadhaar details need correction.
