Maharashtra accepts RTI applications in Marathi, Hindi, or English under the Maharashtra Right to Information Rules 2005. • No Form A: Maharashtra requires the state-prescribed Form A for state authorities. Plain-paper applications can be returned (though Bombay HC has held PIOs cannot reject for missing form alone).
